Thanksgiving Arrangements

Since last week my friend Marcia and I have been discussing about arrangements for Thanksgiving.  I was telling her that we have a Turkey and all that.  She was interested in when I told her that she and her daughter are welcome to come over if they wanted to.  She then suggested that we could bring the food down there to her house and have Thanksgiving there and we could end up spending the night as well.  It was really nice offer her saying that.  We don't mind going into Portland Oregon and spend time with her and her daughter.  This also gives time for Marcia and I to work on our shows.

Marcia and I have a show which is called Marcia and Brian's Dance Party.  I was thinking about getting the show prepared for Christmas, since Craig and I won't be going to New Jersey to see the family.  Marcia has her own show and she wanted me to be her special guest on the show, and of course I have my own show apart from that as well.  I have a couple of shows. One is "Short Talk" and the other is "Bear Talk, Woof".  Bear Talk Woof has its own group on Facebook created by myself and now I have created the show.  I would like to make it more interesting by putting on a show with special guests or Live Callers.

This past weekend Marcia and I were on the phone and she mentioned that she wasn't sure what she was going to do.  However, she has a sister from Seattle who wanted Marcia to come up to see her.  I know Marcia is a little sad because this time last year her mother past away and I know it is very hard for her which was why I suggested for her to spend Thanksgiving with us.  I know how she is feeling and being down and everything but ceasing celebrations are not going to bring the people who past on back to our world.

I was talking with her last night and she mentioned about coming to spend Thanksgiving with us rather us going to see her which is fine.  I told Marcia that her daughter could bring her laptop and hook the internet up here to keep her daughter from being bored.  So we'll see if they will end up coming over here tomorrow.

School postpone

I am a little annoyed because I got a call from University of Phoenix and they told me that there are not enough students for this term.   I actually wanted to start this term but I guess it’s nothing that I could do but wait until February 2011.

Disabled Unit

Craig and I decided that we wanted to move out of the small apartment, which was on the 2nd floor of course. It was a two bedroom apartment, which I was always rearranging the spare room around because that was held as a storage room. It was really annoying me. I hate clutter. I never really liked that apartment because there was a pole in the middle of the living room floor to hold up the ceiling and it was awkward to put the sofas.

I was really glad that we were left that apartment.  This new apartment was much bigger.  It was a disabled unit for wheelchair individuals since it was the only apartment that was available.  It was interesting after we moved into the new apartment that several apartments were becoming vacant.

University

I wasn’t doing anything with myself so I figure I would start school.  I went to Clark college to enquire about it.  But when I got half way there of registration, the school was full of students aready.  I was annoyed, but then I thought about University of Phoenix in Washington, of course, I would be working as an online student.  After getting sorted out as a student, it wasn’t that long until I was a full time online student with University of Phoenix for IT/Programming.  I took online classes as it would be very convenient and flexible in things that I do in my life.

Farmer’s Market Vancouver Washington

There is a Farmer's Market at Esther Short Park by Anytime Fitness where we go to.  They are normally open on weekends.  The market doesn't only sell fruits and vegetables but also handmade stuff which people had made.

When Craig and I go there, we normally would buy fruits and vegetables.  We would pay through our food stamps, but we would have to exchange our money to wooden tokens.  This is something that we didn't know the first several times we were going.

These are rocks which a guy painted.  I thought they were really cute.  So cute that I took a photo of the rocks.  The guy thought it was rude to take pictures of them.  I told him that I was going to purchase one of them, but then i decided not to bother.  He lost a customer right there.

Some live entertainment

The window wall behind the flowers is Anytime Fitness the gym that we go to.  I love how the doors there open like a garage.  There are about 6 garage doors that open to bring some air into the gym.

Trip to see the family

After a few years passed my mother and Craig had gotten along together on the phone. It was time for us to go home to see them in New Jersey. Also it would be Craig’s first time on the East Coast. During our stay there, I took Craig down to New York so he could experience and see what the city was like. I already know what the city was like since I was born and raised in New York. I did take some photographs and put them into a video form. Have fun watching.

The family suggested Craig and me go to Washington DC to check it out for a day and a half. My brother in law booked us tickets and booked us a hotel which was really nice.

During our stay in DC, Craig gave me such a scare. We were at the library and he was looking for some stuff for his hobby, something to do with music and sorting them out or something. We were there for an hour and a half until I gotten fed up with hanging out doing nothing. I told him that I was going back to the hotel. After 3 hours later he still didn’t come back to the hotel. I then waited for him down in the lobby for 2 hours. No sign of him. I went back to the hotel room and left a message and put it on the door and decided to walk back up to the library. By that time it was already dark. By the time I got up there, the library was closed. I was freaking out. Where could he be? He was alone out there, and no phone and not even sure if he knew his way back. By the time I got the hotel I got a call on the cell phone. It was him. We were crying like babies wondering where each other were. Turned out that he didn’t hear what I said when I left the library. He thought I was hanging out at the front of the library. I never want to experience this again of thinking he was lost and wondering what could had happened to him.
