Wedding Rings

Well, we picked out the wedding rings we wanted, which was sort of like a dragon celtic ring.  I like the ring but sadly that it was the wrong size for me, so I had to order a size bigger.

We are suppose to get married between March 5-9th.  That's when Craig's mother comes to town as she wants to see us get married.  I had asked a friend of mine, Scott, if he could ask his friend if she could marry us at the hotel he owns.  Scott was married there as well.  He was telling me that it would cost us nothing to get married there.  I thought that was nice of him to do that.  So I am waiting for his reply about his friend to marry us.

Back to life, back to reality

Now that the caregiver is gone we could think about getting back to the swing of things.  I can't believe we are still talking about her.   I just want to forget her and move on with our lives just like she is as well I'm sure.

I know its my duty to watch over Robert and take care of him and making sure nothing happens to him because he needs me.  He would do the same for me.  Yes it is frustrating but that's just life.  I have to be able to control myself and not feeling the need of being under pressure and not to be difficult because I can be but I do love him and love being with him and taking care of each other.

We do plan on getting married once that the weather gets much better.  Oh yes, that is still in the books.

Cancellation of wedding

We had to cancel our wedding day due to the fact that the weather has been getting bad and he wasn't able to get around with his walker.  Also we had to return our rings a second time because they didn't fit our fingers.  We'll have to get another size up.  It was really small.

Its ridiculous.  Of course we got them at Overstock and they really don't measure the sizes of their rings properly. This size I have on me is an 8, I may have to go to a 9 or 9 1/2 which isn't my normal size but then again my fingers could had gotten bigger.

I think we were both disappointed, (I know I was) that we had to cancel our wedding day as well as returning the wedding rings.  We will get married just have to wait until the weather gets much better.

Proposed

This morning I put on Itunes and got Craig's Breakfast ready for him to eat.  He had me put on a specific song by The Carpenters - I Won't last a day without you.  He held my hands and told me that he wanted to go on his knee but he can't due to his leg not working properly like it used to. I actually may have him go on his knee again in another date so he could be able to do it again.  We'll see.

So anyways, he started crying, filled with emotion that if I would do the honor to be his Brian Sowle-ODoherty on December 8th which was his birthday.

I think he was thinking about the hard times he has been going through and each time I stuck by him rather than listening to my mother to leave him and move to Ireland, which I wasn't going to do.  I could never do that to anybody.
